Youth Advisory Council 2023-2024
*The 2023-2024 Youth Advisory Council is now full!*
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at the Richards Memorial Library is made up of teens between the ages of 13 and 17 who love to read and share opinions and who would like to be more involved in the library. YAC teens help shape the Young Adult book collection and space, discussing and helping choose books to add to the collection, brainstorming and helping plan programs, putting up displays, etc.
YAC meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm, from October to May.
The 2023-2024 Year meetings will be:
October 11th @7:00pm (postponed to a later date)
November 8th @7:00pm (postponed to a later date)
December 13th @ 7:00pm
January 10th @ 6:30pm
February 14th @6:30pm
March 13th @ 6:30pm
April 10th @ 6:30pm
May 8th @ 6:30pm (last meeting-pizza party)
Applications are due by September 20th.
