The Richards Memorial Library Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
October 2022- May 2023 Session (FULL)
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at the Richards Memorial Library is made up of teens between the ages of 13 and 17 who love to read and share opinions and who would like to be more involved in the library. YAC teens help shape the Young Adult book collection by voting on upcoming book releases, decorating and selecting a monthly book display, and voting on upcoming programs. We end our year with a pizza party!
YAC meets one hour each month from October - May. Members must commit to attending meetings (exceptions are always made for illness or possible exposure), and are asked to make up any missed time.
YAC members are also required to volunteer an additional two hours helping with a library project (such as cleaning discs or looking for damaged books) at a time of their convenience before the session ends in May. As well as attend at least 1 program at the library.
Meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and are as follows:

December 14 @ 7 pm
January 11 @ 7 pm
February 8 @ 7 pm
March 8 @ 7 pm
April 12 @ 7pm
May 10 @ 7pm (includes pizza party)
