Donations

We will be collecting for our September Friends Booksale starting in June. 

We accept your hardcover and paperback books, children's books, dvds, and music cds. Please only bring items in good condition, with original packaging for media. You may bring items to the library while we are open.

If you need a receipt, please count the items (for example, 8 hardcover, 12 paperbacks and 3 dvds) so we can record it on the form.

We do not accept Reader's Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias or records. If the book is one we don't own in the library and fits our needs, then we add it to the collection. Otherwise it goes to the fall book sale.

If you are cleaning out other books and need to get rid of them, you can take books in good condition to Got Books  at the following local centers:

  • North Attleboro Recycling Center at 777 Mt. Hope St.
    It's open Mon, Fri and Sat: 8 am-2:30 pm to eligible participants with a current valid sticker. This is a 6 foot gray container. 
  • Plainville Recycling Center at 29 West Bacon St. Open Monday 8 to 3 and Saturday 8 to 1. 10 foot container.
  • Angelcat Haven at 36 Bacon Square in Plainville. Open anytime. 6 foot container.
  • Attleboro's Old Barn at 65 S. Main St. Attleboro. Open anytime. Benefits Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter. 6 foot container.
